Description: |
Roman solid cast lead head of a bull having nicely sculpted facial features and details, short curved horns, one missing. Overall slightly encrusted surface patina. Together with an Achaemenid cast bronze amulet-finial depicting two bulls heads facing in opposite directions. Perforated suspension lug. Overall deep blue-green surface patina with areas of encrustation. Some loss on the lower rim. |
