Description: |
Carved green-black rectangular greenstone vessel decorated with a low relief carved scene on the front panel depicting two enthroned figures facing one another, holding raised vessels, offering table between the figures. Incised branch type decoration on both sides. Four drilled compartments in the top and a drilled suspension hole in each of the upper corners. A few minor ancient edge losses, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. |
