Large plank headdress or mask carved in form of a bird with wide spread wings, and the projecting bird head with articulated neck. Center of the body displays built up ring eyes and mouth with impressed abrus seeds and mirrors, and the edges are perforated with raffia fringe detail. White painted ground still mostly extant. Modern hanging hook on back. |
