Description: Group of eight highly decorated glass tiles and fragments, including two complete square tiles with intricate floral designs, both are intact, exc. cond. Together with three incomplete floral decorated mosaic tiles. Two similar red paste glass fragments with a millefiori center cane. Finally, an extremely rare Egyptian cameo glass fragment depicting a partial royal figure carrying a lotus flower over the shoulder, in colors of brown over white over deep blue.
Provenance: Ex. Christies, NYC, 2018, sale 15792, lot #s 83, 92, 93, 94, ex. Swiss collector, 1980s-1990s, Two wig inlays: ex. Sothebys, London, 20 November 1929, lot 147.
