Description: |
LargE orangeware pottery seated male retablo slab type figure, depicted with a rectangular head with simple facial features. Hand resting on his raised knee and right hand held in an upward position. Some remaining black fine line painted geometric facial decoration. Overall strong scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Repaired from approximately six original pieces with restoration over the break lines, four finger tips restored. a nice large size example. |
