Natural salmon-buff color solid pottery seated female figure holding her child in a cradleboard. Mother is depicted with a fancy coiled hairdo and wearing a belt on her waist. Some remaining red painted highlights. Overall scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Repaired from a few original pieces with restoration over the break lines. Old hardwood base. A very rare depiction. |
