Description: |
Carved mottled blue-green jadeite stone standing shaman figure in transition to a jaguar. Depicted with a large upturned mouth, resembling a jaguar snout. Tiny biconical drilled perforations in his ear lobes. Wearing an incised belt. Left forearm cleanly reattached, and a stablized hair line on the top left corner of his head, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. A classic and beautiful example. Custom bronze base.
