Description: Carved olive-green diorite or ser4pentine stone maskette pendant, having boldly carved facial features, including a wide mouth with parted thick lips, bow shape upper lip, angular nose extending to a wide raised brow, drilled and carved large eyes, tab ears with biconical drilled lobes. A biconical drilled suspension hole in the center of the top ridge. Overall excellent ancient surface patina with scattered encrustation. A minor ancient edge loss on his right ear, otherwise intact, exc. cond. A beautiful example. Custom hardwood base.
