| Description: |
Orangeware pottery horse, having a hollow molded body and standing on four integral legs. Wearing a blanket covering his body, and a saddle with stirrups. Incised striated mane, and wearing a nose guard and head crest. Some scattered remaining traces of white surface pigment, with scattered surface deposits. Head and neck reattached, left rear leg restored and legs reattached, with some restoration to the remaining three legs, rear repaired from nine original pieces, body repaired from approximately ten original pieces with restoration over the break lines. |
