Description: |
Cast hollow silver winged griffin having a bird beak type mouth and central head crest, wings spread, ribbed body. Hips with raised geometric decoration, both front hips inset with gold. One ear and one eye retain gold insets. Some scattered light blue-green surface patina. Missing tail, otherwise intact. A rare example. |
