Early iron sword having a long tapered blade with blood ridges on the upper portion. Classic iron cup hilt and having a carved deep brown bone handle, having crosshatched and concentric ring decoration. Handle capped with a 19th century silver sewing thimble, engraved with the initial “V.”. Overall old rusty deep brown surface patina. A few very minor blade nicks, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. |
