Description: |
Three different single strand necklaces, all modern strung, one with a clasp. The ancient near east example is composed of multicolor stone and shell small disc beads. Intact. The Pre-Columbian necklace is composed of orange spondylus and stone disc beads and tubular silver beads, with a carved shell tapered pendant decorated with an incuse carved stylized snake. Both are intact, sturdy and wearable. The Egyptian necklace is composed of various faience and silver beads. Some losses to the faience beads. |
